My home computer and my work computer and never the two shall meet; but I need to user P5 on both. The home pc reg'ed just fine but having trouble with the work system's registering. Pretty sure this is legit useage of poser 5, since I am only only using each sys at time

I reckon you will have to contact Curious labs for this one.

The license is a "like a book" type so technically as long as you don't use both simultaneously, its legal. Please note IANAL (I am not a Lawyer)

Why are you registering it again? Just install the most recent patch it removed the copy protection junk. and IMO, this falls under fair use.

It doesn't fall under fair use, but, as noted, it is covered under the EULA -- you can do this. Software is never covered under fair use in this manner.

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

Besides: P5sp4.1 will check out if there is a network, and if so, if there is a P5 install on any ther linked puter. Which is fair also.

I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now I'll be mad. (Rumi)

yup, i had a scene rendering on one machine and linked up my laptop so i could sincronize my runtimes. I forgot i put my laptop into hibrination with poser up. when they saw each other poser on the laptop closed (allowing me to save first). I assume it closed because the other was rendering at the time.

Later to test the theory, i set them both to rendering and linked them. the one that finished rendering first closed down (with the option to save the image and pz3 first)
