My new program is now for sale: Hide-A-Dial. After years of working in Poser, I finally got fed up with having to scroll down Vicky's list of parameter dials just to adjust the Rotate dials. So, I thought about ways to hide these dials... and my latest program was created! The Hide-A-Dial program will create a pose file to hide all of the parameter dials for a figure. Apply the pose to the figure and you don't have to deal with the gazillions of parameter dials! The Scale, Rotate, and Trans dials are the only ones left. Best of all, you don't need a Python script or any knowledge of cr2-editting. And what happens when you need to adjust a dial, but can't because it's hidden? No problem. Simply apply the "show dial" pose and bring the dials back. The program is now for sale at Vanishing Point. (Remember, members get a 10% discount.) It is in the testing queue at Poser Pros, and will soon be uploaded to the Marketplace, here. --John

This looks like a fantastic and time/sanity saving utility. I am looking forward to it's release here. cheerio lululee

Huum, interesting concept except if you have a PBoost bank active. Or, P5 running multiple runtimes. If there was a way to attach it to the Python Pallet so it would be available no matter what is being done I'd but it right now.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

*so I have to change from the figure folder to a pose folder so I can "Apply" the hide dials pose? I'm not getting it....* Not at all- you don't have to "change" anything. You select a figure (from any figure folder) to apply the hide/ show poses to, then select a pose folder to save the hide/ show pose files into. Here's a screen shot to better explain what I'm trying to say. :) The program will remember your last-used figure and pose folders, so you only need to set it once. *If there was a way to attach it to the Python Pallet...* I thought about the option of making a Python script, but then Poser 4 (and Poser Artist) users wouldn't be able to use the files: neither program supports Python. --John

Forgot about that. The concept sounds great but I'm going to wait for actual use reports.
