Nope ... No can do. They were originally seperate companies and they are too different in many key areas .. Metacreations was working on it but then sold off the stuff ... I amnot an animation guru but I know you can synch stuff from one to another and edit it together like they do for films ... Good luck
Actualy.. it can't be done with a simple file. However if you were to break appart the poser model in bryce, and add spheres at the poser figures joints. You could technicaly pose the figure in Bryce. Though this technque was covered in an old issue of 3D Artists Magazine. It's obviously a longer process to do this. But to anwser the question.. Yes.. It could be done. The question is do you have the patinece for this? Good luck ~Blacksteel
Ackbar, Yes. I just did a quick check at 3D artists. And your in luck there is a .BR4 file of a modifyed poser model for you to play with! This technique was created by Cecilia Zimer. this was covered in Issue 39 of 3D artists magazine. http://www.3dartist.com/3dao/s/39/3da39sup.htm Scroll down near the bottom where it says page 20 ( its an HTML version of the original magazine.. be sure to get the download of the poser figure set up in bryce 4. Have fun! ~Blacksteel
Actually I think the answer is much easier, however a little time consuming but ver accurate. In Poser, export each frame as a separate object. Import into Bryce4 render one frame, delete object, then import the next in the sequence etc. I tried this once. Worked, but had little patience. It seems like someone could easily write a plugin that would work, since close and all textures work great. We will see

Both Poser 4 and Bryce 4 have the ability to make animations, and they are made by the same company. It stands to reason that there should be some way of animating a Poser figure in Bryce, right How would I do that? Is there some sort of movement file that I need to export, or a tutorial that will detail how I could do this? Ackbar
