Attached Link: Greetings from a newcomer!

Hi everybody!

I'm Thomas Weinert (thomaniac) from germany.
I'm absolutely new in doing fractals and therefore rather unexperienced [yet ;-)]. As I'm not a mathematical genius I just experiment with different parameters or use the random functions of the fractal creating programs. And sometimes, with (a lot) patience and luck wonderful fractals come out.

And there are so many fractalprograms for free -ok I had to pay for xenodream- I really get addicted.

There are many great fractals shown here!
Hope mine will also enjoy you.

Welcome to our Fractal Addiction Support Group! If only mathematical geniuses did fractals, there would only be about 4 here! Most of us are more interested in the art. Enjoy.

Fractals will always amaze me!

lol @ tresamie Welcome Thomas, so very true I think most of us just read tutorials and get help from others here at rendo who do know the programs there working with. you have to get Apophysis it is also a free program a fractal flame generator which can be used alone or with gimp both of these are free it can also be used with ultra fractal not free sadly another one that is free is Fractal Explorer all are excellent programs good luck and happy rendering

Great start to your gallery! You'll love being here with fantastic artists of many varied talents and such nice people. Also we seem to be a bit nutty, rofl. Think it goes with the territory :).

Hello and welcome! At least this is a healthy addiction, lol. I look forward to seeing more of your images very soon! There's not a lot of talk in the forum here but there are many beautiful fractals in the gallery. :) I have yet to see even one I didn't like! There are so many fractal programs, each has their own "flavor". It's fun to try them all. I recently purchased XenoDream. It looks very promising but takes some patience for me to learn. You've done great with it! Persevere.

Greetings. I am Matthew Schultz and I am also quite new in the assylum, but am addicted. Fractaling is an addiction, a drug, and a mental illness, but here you will find some of the most brillant minds in the world. Sure, few here know anything about mathematics (I'm learning), but the images are among the best you will ever see. //Matt //ps- I am insane

Welcome! It is so nice to see new artists join the fractal gallery. Not only are fractal addicting, but Renderosity can be addicting too. I spend a good portion of my days here and often just let the rest of the world go by. ;)) Hope you enjoy yourself here and I'll be looking at your art.
