I've imported OBJ figures from Poser and then converted them to vertex objects so I can modify them with Carrara when I needed to. When you double-click the figure in Carrara, choose EDIT and then choose "Convert to other modeler". Then choose "vertex modeler". Now you can edit your figure.

I think he wants the dialog box settings when you import your poser generated (.obj) morph target? I can't help for C3 as I only have C2 and what I'd say might be wrong for C3(?)

I imported a Poser model (as 3ds) last night. But I guess the quesion is (but it IS a guess) if you can reimport it back to Poser to use it on the posette and use the dials.

I guess that is possible to, but you should not add vertices, and the named polygons should stay named the same through the in and export.

In the end the results of just pulling some things might be better achieved with magnets in Poser.

Creating Poser-material from scratch is also possible in C3, but rigging it in Poser needs a hand book, I think.

sslide24, try babelfish (translator) - most of us can't understand you. http://babelfish.altavista.com/

I've built objects for Poser in Carrara, rendered Poser objects (mostly figures) in Carrara, and used Carrara to create Poser Morphs. So the short answer is "yes." If this question is in regards to more detail...not having both applications open in front of me at moment I can't provide description or screenshot. Seems that this might be nice to have in the FAQ here? Or does Transposer make the rest of it moot?

I don't know if Babelfish does Cyrillic characters. I'm assuming ua is Ukraine.

Oh, that explains it - I'd assumed he was Russian. :}
