Subject: Afew questions on importing

Just used the latest release and am impressed. Unfortunately, I feel I'm looking through posereyes still and missing a lot...I cannot figure out how to switch from part to body or find IK or its new replacement. I assume the best thing to do 1st is cleanup the characters with dialcleaners, etc before importing them. Also..is it better to dump your poserlightsets in the pz3 before importing it? I've crashed it quite a few times already but these are "light" crashes ;)...only to the desktop so, Im thrilled. Love the interface

Online Now!

IK isn't there at all yet, nor is animation. In fact, make sure IK is off in Poser before saving your scene for D|S, or you may get twisted feet. Try turning limits on in Poser - save first, since that won't undo - to make sure the poses don't break as D|S uses limits by default. Lights (and cameras) tend not to transfer well, but in D|S you can go to the Edit menu to delete all lights at once, which is quicker than doing it one-by-one in Poser.

Thanks for the timesaver tips...The daz threads are already too huge to cope with...
