Subject: Apology to E-On...

Just wanted to thank E-on for getting my Vue 5 to me in just THREE days. In a post many threads down, I complained about the UPS charge being $45- as I was used to paying $25 for heavier packages sent UPS 2nd day. And after checking 2nd Day on my order form on Sunday night- I assumed it would be sent from Oregon.

Well- it wasn't. It was sent from Paris. And I live way out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (Tahiti is just five hours away- woohoo!) --and I got Vue 5 EARLY today (Wednesday morning) and it was sent UPS EXPRESS to me.

So for $45 I got a great shipping deal and an incredibly FAST shipment. So- sorry about my complaint about the shipping fee...

(Is that French perfume I smell on the package? OoooLahlah!)

That's great! Of course, I chose ground, and since there's an ocean between me and Paris, I might have to wait a few million eons for the ocean to fill in! Actually, reading your post makes me think that all ground shipments were sent from Oregon, and they couldn't ship it until they got an air delivery from Paris. At least that makes it seem understandable to me!

I'm in so California and my Vue5 shipped from Oregon Tuesday. I ordered standard ground UPS (couldn't see spending 45 bucks). Anyway, it's scheduled to deliver today. It's gonna be a long day waiting and watching the clock.

Mine shipped on Tuesday as well, and it's expected tomorrow in Chicago. Can't wait! I guess I'll have to though.

It arrived about 6 hours ago... haven't been able to put it down since. Hate waiting for these test radiosity renders, tho.

E-On's Website coughed up a nasty hairball when I tried ordering from them directly! Do they have a Website for the Oregon Office by chance?

E-on only has one website that I know of. Where its actually located- I don't know. I guess you could do an IP check and find where their website operates from. E-on sort of operates like Batman- you have to flash the right signals- then Batman comes. E-on is not notorius for being extremely user-friendly- but if you read the order form carefully and your payment method is valid, you should be able to order Vue 5 from their website without any big problem. I used my VISA card- which is valid and has available credit on it- and my order was processed last Sunday night (when I hit the submit button) and I got two order confirmations in my email box on Monday morning. On Wednesday morning, the UPS EXpress package arrived. So for me, it was "EZ".

LOL Already did that and Network Solutions is thier host listed by WhoIs. (Already tried going that route to find the secret phone number where I could order it but no such luck they've guarded their phone numbers on that end as well.)
