Okay, so im trying to retex a set of pants - the stock pants for P5Don to be exact. I have a BMP template using UVMapper... I want to put a wide stripe down the side of the pants. My question is how do you guys texture out the specific parts of the texture so it does not looked warped... in other words how would i prevent a wobly line?

Furthermore, have you guys done anything with Texporter from 3ds Max and Displace-filter on Photoshop? im getting a few interesting results.

If you're using PS, I would try the Pen tool, which creates clean lines or curves. Create a path which encloses the area to be filled with the stripe colour, convert to a selection, and fill. If all you need is a straight line, then you can use a hard-edged brush with the shift key.
