You can also save to the material library and then apply your saved shader to each material. Or, if you really want to, you can make a MAT pose so you can reproduce the same material set up next time you need it.

There are 32 materials on a figure that need to be designated, apparently one at a time? Bleah! MAT poses, at least those from commercial products, don't seem to work. Applying the MAT pose will adjust the appropriate morphs (if they're loaded), but the textures aren't applied to any part of the figure. Once laboriously applied to each of the 32 parts, will a saved material pose work?
If it adjusts morphs and doesn't load textures, then it's not a MAT pose. Will a saved material pose work? Well I guess that depends how you save it. Poser doesn't provide any method for saving MAT poses, so you need something like Hogwarden's QuickMAT or one of the python scripts that are floating around or MAT Pose Edit by Scourge. I use QuickMAT. I can vouch for that one working. Some figures have way more material zones than they need (all of the DAZ series 3 figures for example). One approach you can use is to modify the mesh by unifying some of the materials. It's easy to do with UV mapper. If you know how, it can also be done with Poser's Group Editor without too much effort. There's more scope for making mistakes that way though.

Is there any way to quickly apply texture maps in P5? It seems that you can copy and paste nodes, or apply one node to all (then go back and take out the ones it shouldn't be on), or laboriously apply nodes to each body part. Am I missing something?
