What about using animated banners? I know the rules say .jpg images, but would animated ones be out of the question? Also, since we are having a rotation for the forum, what about one for the gallery as well? Maybe even one for the community frontpage?

I must admit that I hate animated things in galleries. In most cases they run very fast and make me nervous...

I don't mean animated fractals in the gallery, I mean an animated banner. ~Tim ^_^
