I have been mucking around with creature creator and loaded a 3ds model into poser. This is where i get stuck. At the moment the model is just one whole thing. How do i (if i can at all) go about selecting the different body parts for minipulation. Would appreciate any help - Thanks in advance.

There's a whole lot to do to make it work in Poser. Try reading the tutorials at www.bushi3d.com

I've made characters from Creature Creator myself. Its do-able. One thing I had to do was tesselate it on level to make it look good.

Take the 3DS file, into Poser, then export it as an obj file. Then, open UVMapper, and bring it in. In UVMapper, there is a function that will allow you to select parts of the creature, and make it a group. Not sure how your going to write your cr2 file for it, but if you've got a 1 piece mesh, and are good with cr2's, you can break it down to a multipart figure. Good luck! =)
