Subject: Lights Dilemma in Poser

Does anyone know how to work around this? My scene is simple, with three lights all "locked." But when I replace a character the lights all change position. I've tried saving the character first with no lights, but it makes no difference.

What about setting up your lights, and then saving the lights? Then you could replace characters and apply your lights.

That's curious. Why are they changing at all? Are they perhaps parented to the figure -- or to some other prop that is parented to the figure that you are changing?

Are you using the point at command by any chance? If so, turn it off and manually point your lights as you want them. Otherwise when you delete or replace the figure that the light is set to point at, the lights will reset to the current dial settings because the object pointed at has been removed.

Good answers all -- but the culprit was the "point at" command. Sincere thanks to everyone for taking the time and trouble.
