Hi all If there are some people that does not know what bird I'm talking about here is a link for the real photos at google (above).

I'm realy glad that the Zebra finchs I've made based on Anton's (DAZ) SongBirds REMIX got a good place at lots of users arround the world and also the Dead Sea Sparrow.

I want to thank both of the peoples that hosts my files:

and At PlanIt 3D as well
http://www.planit3d.com/source/poser/p_textures.html

Both birds are on FREE STUFF for you all for download.

Hope you like the Quelea Finch I've made just now :)
Thank you all
regards,
Happy posing

We'll be glad to host that one too if you like, let me know. Beautifully done...

Some comments: The black on his cheeks should come over the top of the bill, too, judging from those photos. The darkness of his wingtops where they join the body should perhaps rise up on the back of his neck into what seems to be a point, and maybe be a bit fuzzy in blending... yours appears to break off evenly and suddenly, but it is hard to tell with just one POV. Overall, he looks good. I like that red beak and the wing patterns. :) You've been doing a good job about educating us on various finches, too! Carolly

Here is the new Quelea Finch (fix by Carolly suggestions) ShadowWind I'll be glad to send it to you - that you can put at the manor :) Now I'm just want to creat a MAT file for the Zebra Finch that it could change to the Quelea

I hope it will be of use to others as well :)

Thank you all

Hi All, Well I think thayt I'm done with female - let me know what you think :) Regards, aryeguetta

The female's beak appears to be lighter/yellower and the facial markings a bit less distinct in the referenced images... but there aren't that many to go by. Otherwise, this looks great! That is actually a chipper little bird with nice markings. :) Carolly

Hi, Thanks Carolly for helping me with my birds - as always you have been a great help :). I've finished the Quelea (thanks to Carolly) and have it ready for posting over the net. **to ShadowWind:** Hi, Thank you for willing to post my birds, I have both Queleas ***READY*** but I want to creat a MAT file or a PZ2 file for the Zerbra finch as well so those who have the Zebra finch will only need to download the PZ2 file and Texture map... Hmmmm.... Help me on this :) I also made a **STAND ALONE** Body Part pose Now its only for the feet I'll send you E-Mail with all the files as soon as they will be ready for posting.

My landlady and a couple of close friends are "birders"... they're the ones with sharp eyes (and ears!). My specialty is identifying and photographing wildflowers. Easier. Much easier. Flowers usually don't hop out of sight, or stick their heads underwater, or fly directly overhead just as you get them in focus. ;) These are turning out very nicely... overall a great series! And they'll fill out garden scenes in our virtual worlds. Carolly
