I have a severe case of texturers block! I can never think of how to texture a model once I have made it so here is a link to a model I made and I would love to see what you guys could to with it in terms of texturing and lighting(TOXE Pleaaaaase give this a go :P)! Also an idea of how you went about texturing would be appreciated. Note: UVs have already been generated so you just need to make the maps UV editor.

Hope you will find this of interest.I got rid of the Sklight and Indirect output ticks. It makes the system slow to work and rarely do I find any extra quality gained is worth the processing wait. I added a bulb light at 50 percent and placed/directed it at the lower part of the mushroom. For the basic mushroom I just applied the texture "celular" from the Basic proceedurals shader browser file. For the mushroom underside I used Sunset1 and for the ground Mossand Dirt both of which I extracted into a Terrains Shaders folder in the browser. Whenever I open anything in Carrara I allways extract any good shaders into the browser.

Or, better still, you click on the brush icon and just wildly play with the millions of options and then show Us how wildy clever ANYONE can really be in Carrara!

And Toxe is asked to do a Shader Ops Tutorial--in great depth--for us mere mortals. PLEASE!
