Subject: Trouble with a Poser Texture in DAZ

laserrangr ( ) posted Wed, 06 April 2005 at 9:44 AM · edited Sat, 08 February 2025 at 2:36 PM

I just bought the Gorodin's SF Uniforms for Vicky's Catsuit. I have Victoria 3 Sr1 and RR, I have also the Catsuit for Victoria 3 and it works fine with the catsuite options, but with the SF uniforms for Vicky I can't get anything changed. I am selecting the catsuit in the scenes before I apply the MATs. The author of the package said that the BUMs where not included in the zip to save space, but I don't know how to make them in DAZ. Does anyone have any words of wisedom for me please. Also do you know where I can go to get Star Trek uniforms for V3/M3/A3/or Freak? Thanks Laserrangr

If you are being prompted for .bum files you are using the P4 versions of the mat poses or clothes - try using the PP (ProPack) versions instead, if there are any - they may be files in the same folder with P4 or PP after the name, or there may be two folders, one P4 and one PP.

Thanks, but there is not error message, only that the mat is loaded with no visible results. I do have the cat suit selected in the scenes.

Are you sure the texture is intended for use with the catsuit, and not for application directly to the character's body (or another clothing item)? That would give you a blink-and-you've-missed-it load, as D|S would not find any of the named material zones from the mat pose on the catsuit.

I cant help you with your MAT issues cause I am to new to this... BUT I can help guide you to star trek uniforms. There is a member here called Trekkiegrrrl. She has a website that has really nice outfits and of course Star Trek uniforms. Good luck in solving your problems. LOL I am having issues myself just trying to figure out how to put files where they belong so I can even try to use them in the program.

3d gladiators have some star trek stuff, you might have to be a member to download but membership is free.

ok iv'e had this happen in studio.........you will have to check the surfaces tab and make sure each texture is applied to the correct surface.....you may have to find them yourself... daz has problems applying some things. including face poses and inj poses... hope this helps. netta
