DAZ|Studio F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 02 12:10 am)
Most Poser items work in DAZ|Studio - you need to pick a folder to use, to which you point the installer (or to which you copy the Runtime folder from zipped content such as that in the Renderosity freestuff); you should find the Content folder in the DAZ|Studio application folder is already picked (it should appear in the Content palette with a plain, rather than lines, folder icon). If not, or if you want to use a different folder (to use a drive with more space, for example) you need to tell DAZ|Studio where it is: go to Edit>Preferences>Directories tab, click the DAZ|Studio content directories buton at the top and pick poser content directories instead and then click the Add button and select your chosen folder. each folder tree in the Content palette shows either DAZ|Studio native content or Poser content - you can't see both at once.

I have gone to the free section and searched for DAZ and DAZ Studio but it keeps coming up with ones that show (poser) underneath. Are these usable for DAZ Studio or am I searching the wrong way? Please let me know... Thank you
