Yep - you missed it... Apparently Derek offered it up for sale and no-one was willing to pay his asking price... that's the story I heard anyways. It's a pity - Derek's vision for a great site was almost perfect... if it could have been kept going, it would probably have become one of the leading Fractal sites IMHO... T.

That was such an awsome site! I so would've bought it if I wasn't a bloody 17 year old with no job and no money! THAT SUCKS MAN! ....... ....... So how do we replace it? We gotta do somethin! Had that site continued, it would've been a real exihibition of our artform, something which, dispite its greatness, renderosity will never offer (too much poser). The FAR site kindof is, but that's mainly a webring. We need a true home. I'm willing to help all I can, I know quite a bit about web site stuff (I don't know php for nuke, but I can sure learn quickly) but at the end of the day I'm still a 17 year old with no money and no job (ok, so I'm gonna work real soon, but I'm still jobless at the moment).
