Subject: How to export figure with STRAND hair to Carrara?

When I export James into Carrara he exports fine, but Strand hair doesn't cross over. What is the trick please? Anybody? Thanks in advance gang. Vernonglen

What version of Carra, Transposer, and Poser are you using?

I am using Poser 6 and Carrara 4 standard. I have used the Poser export function to export files as Wavefront Objects in Poser and then brought the file in as imported Wavefront files in Carrara. I am prompted by Carrara then to locate some of the textures for the skin and clothes. Except for the Strand hair it works pretty good. What's Transposer? I work on a 1GHz PowerPC G4 Mac Power book in OS 10.3 with 1GB DDR SDRAM. vern

Transposer is an add on that allows you to open PZ3's directly into Carrara. AFAIK, Transposer 2 is the only way to import P6 hair into Carrara. I forgot that TransPoser 2 works w/ Poser 5 only at this time. e-Frontier has not released the SDK for Poser 6, so TransPoser 2 has not been updated to work w/ Poser 6.
