Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 20 7:20 am)
Kind of depends on what you are trying to export. Are you trying to export an entire scene or just a morph target or a small object. If you are trying to export an entire huge scene filled with a lot of characters, props, clothes, and hair, then no wonder it is bogging down. If you are just trying to export something small then it sounds like you really do have a problem, because I can export a body part like a head with no problem.
Probably then what's happending isn't that Poser is locking up, but rather just having to work a long time to export the whole scene. Have you tried leaving it alone for a few hours to see that it eventaully exports the scene? If it is complex enough you might have to leave it overnight. Just out of curiousity, what are you going to do with this object file once you export it out of Poser? Perhaps an alternative would be to export small parts of the scene and then recombine them in the program you are going to use to import the objects.

I have Poser 6 and SR1. I want to export an OBJ file but after I made the usual popups the poser does nothing. It is not possible to do anything after that so I have to exit it. Poser must have crash. Has somebody else the same problem? How to solve it? I have not had any more problems with P6.
