Subject: Is it possible to replace the default figure on load up?

I am wondering if i can replace the default figure (p5 man) so say v3 or m3 loads up when i open poser? If so how would i set it up?? Thanks much much in advance ^.^

Yes it's very easy. Set up the Pose area they way you want it. ie figure, lighting, display settings, etc. Then go to Edit, preferences and click on set prefered state. Then select load to prefered state. The exact terms may be a little off, I'm going from memory but that should give you the gist of it.

First thing I learned in Poser was to set my Window to load without any character. I deleted the default Dork (kept my lights and background/foreground, etc) and set the preferred state. It's nice to have an empty window to start with.

cool, i mainly work with vicky and groan each time it takes to load her up so i got her in my window on load up ^.^ tnx for the tips guys!!

Also, it is very useful to set from the start such things as background color, camera focal lenght and maybe even a default lighting. They are all small things, but boring to be modified (most often always to the same setting) every time you open up a new scene. Bye, Grim
