Subject: New Crashing Issue

Hello, Today, quite at random, poser 6 has decided to start crashing without warning when I click on anything that opens an explorer window (save as, open, run python script...) It just immediately closes. It's very odd. Anyone know how to correct this? I have re-installed the program and it still occurs, suggesting a different problem.

Hmm, sounds odd. Do you recall exactly what it was you did between the time it last worked, and the first time the crash happened? Maybe with a list of events leading from working to not we can find a solution.

I knocked the hardware acceleration down one notch, and it worked perfectly. Interesting...

Have you updated your video card software? If so maybe that is the problem. If not, maybe you do need to update it.

Can be anything... really... If hardware acceleretion fixed it, probably you could make an update... but maybe the card simply overheated... My poser 6 did fancy things yesterday btw... when i tried to run python 'delete all lights', my whole scene turned grey, and stayed grey... I had to close, and reopen... revert would not work.. I figure poser is a quite sensitive program, dependng very much on the platform and harware you use it with.. Many of you say you use athlons and 'round 1 gigs of memory... I have the same, and a pci-e card... still I have very-very long renders and unexpected crashes...
