Maybe I don't understand, (though I've been using Poser since Version 4) I just purchased Version 6 upgrade and uninstalled version 4 and 5 from my PC. after reboot I installed version 6, rebooted.. I tried to install DAZ Victoria and Michael but when the screen comes up to say where to install them, I only get in the dropdown, DAZ Studio 1.0, poser 4 and Poser 5.. Any idea on the workaround to install the characters correctly? Thanks ahead of time..

It's P5 install option you need.

if you already uninstalled P5 then change the 5 to 6 in the install because Poser use the same path on all versions unless you changed it. I do this when I purchase new items from daz some do not give a P6 option so when the screen come up I just delete the 5 and put 6
do this any time it ask for P5
IMHO you should have kept P4 and P5 installed since you can link to their runtimes from P6

DAZ's install is pre programmed. It isnt detecting your 4 and 5, it is just preset to offer D|S, p4 or p5 installs. I'm not even sure it makes a diffrence which one you choose. i use P5 but it still gives me RSRs but not PNGs.

Usually on the DAZ installer there is an option for manually selecting the folder, just type in poser6. That's what I do and it works just fine! thefixer, poser coord.

That DAZ installer is a pain isn't it? You select Poser 5 and it still installs all the P4 and PP stuff anyway..... Why bother with the option?
