If you haven't already, you might want to consider posting this on the Paint Shop Pro Forum too.Select the lashes and copy and then paste it as a new image. Its best to crop it down close I usually leave around 10 pixels (not exact) on each side to make sure I dont actually cut out part of the object. Then got File/Export/ do the name and stuff. Then it ok. Also in PSP 9 and above supports multiple folders so u can organize them in folders then at the brush selection box choose your folder at the top. This helps with organizing so your not looking through a 100 hair brushes to find an eyelash brush.

Hope this is the right forum area, wanted feedback from Poser users on this as well as PSP users. I need some help in finding a way to convert PSD layers that an artist created into a custom brush for PSP X. The problem I have is PSP X does NOT accept the ".abr" files the artist created saying it's "unsorpported" and a newer version. However, the artist left one BIG PSD file for converting to single brushes. The PSD layer consits of several hair, lashes, etc. layers and is in a large single PSD file. What I need to do is take one of layers, i.e. lashes, and select from one of the several lashes in that "lashes" layer. In other words, create a custom brush that is PSP X compatible from one of the lash style in that layer. I would assume you would use the "selection tool" which allows you to draw a box around the portion of the image you want, I tried that and it selected the lash from the others in that layer just fine. However, I don't know how to save it as a PSP X custom brush since I'm a newbie to PSP and brushes. When I tried it, I got the dialog box to save brush, description, etc., but when it saved nothing showed up, it was as if nothing was saved at all. Can someone tell me of a simple way to convert a PSD layer selection, using the selection tool to choose from one of the many lashes, to a custom brush for use in PSP X? There must be an easy way to do this since the PSD file has all the layers there for you to save brushes for use in other programs. Thanks for any help or thoughts on this. BTW, the artist name is "lisbeth" so you can check out some of her work in the marketplace if you need to for help in this matter.
