And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few,ย Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

I agree with Richard. I think ya nailed that exposure. #:O)
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Looks fine to me as well. Photoshop has a Shadow/Highlights tool that could help you with that. More than that and you need a tutorial on burning back in a color. :) But this looks good...

Steve the image looks absolutely perfect to me.. no blown out highlights.. the white is within... and like jim said once blown out no good as a image... when shooting under sunlight conditions l always programme -1/3 exposure compensation.. you can always adjust an image in ps.. psp. bring it up.. but once blown its blown...l know from experiance hahah blow 168 images few weeks ago.. dont ask bimbo slip of the moment..:)..:)) its a beautiful image..steve.. could always turn b/w..sometime kills some brightness..:)..:))

yes Nikki, as myself, underexpose by 1/3rd and most times, 2/3rds (depending on conditons!)...Thats why I shoot in RAW + JPEG (separate files)...with blownout highlights in jpg, yer stuck!..in RAW, can adjust the exposure plus more etc..as we all know! In bright conditions, I always underexpose regardless! With a bit more thought and preparation, I feel there really is no need for overexposured/ blown whites (beginning to sound like a washing powder ad!!!!)
