I am trying to find the best settings in Firefly that would render the best. I have all of Jepe's bodyhair textures and when I try to render them the body hair does not have that soft look to it. Here are the settings that is suggested by Jepe: Smooth Polygons: Checked Raytracing: Checked Use Displacement Maps: Checked Texture Filtering: UN-checked Set min. bounds to 1 Max texture res 4096 pixels Should I have to worry about the Post Filter Size and Type? Can you set the Max Testure Res. to higher than 4096? Any help will be appreciated! Tankred

Hmmm, what lighting setup are you using? Are you using any skin shaders or AO, or IBL? Anyways, it sounds like the lighting might be creating a harsh effect on the hairs. Unfortunately, i don't have any of Jepe's characters, so I can't troubleshoot the problem directly. I hope this helps? -Starkdog

I have the Unimesh Realism Kit and I play around with the lights. I tend to use preset lights from HyperReal and Syd Ravens lights that she did for ApolloMax. Any help? Tankred
