Learning to use a Nikon 880 takes a degree of persistance. Cropped and a small change in intensity. The use of the B & W option gives a tight pixel resolution. You can copy the old masters technique if you choose. Regards, Bill

Nice picture, thank you for sharing.....could you also share your masters techniques? I use the 880 and one of the things I find the most difficult is getting used to such a small camera, and camera shake. The possibilities however, are endless.

My favorite camera for several years in the 1950's was a 4x5 format Bush Pressman. With a 127mm wide angle lens. You could read negatives directly. ASA 50 film and lots of light. We have come a long way. On subject of camera shake. I have considered buying an inexpensive painters tool for roller extention. Making an adapter that would be placed on the camera. The result is a short (36/72 in.)telescoping monopod. Very light and aids the stability. It would be quick on/off and if lost easily replaced at any hardware. I'll send some pictures of vise-grip tools adapated for camera mounting. Regards, Bill
