First is Bryce 5.5 capable of global illumination what about radiosity? Second I have tried to export poser figures (with hair and clothing) and then when I imp the model into Bryce there are no texures applied. Can I imp my poser stuff into Bryce and have the objects, textures and bump maps correct? Thank you very much! C

(1) Short answer: no. Longer answer: You can fake it, but don't ask me how. Plenty of threads about it here in the forum though. (2) Assuming you're using Bryce 5.5, then you will have installed Daz|Studio (D|S) as well. Save your figure in poser, then open Bryce. On the far left side of the create pallete is the D|S icon, click that. D|S will open, you can open your poser file in it, then click on the Bryce icon to get your figure, fully textured, back into Bryce. At least that's the theory. If you have any problems, just ask for more help, here or over at RenderGods. Mahray http://www.rendergods.com/

No dynamic hair importation yet but hopefully in the next version...

Actually,.........you can fake GI and radiosity in Bryce with the use of radial light semi-domes and/or true ambiance and soft shadows, with quite satisfactory results,..........long rendertimes though. As far as importing Poser figures,........I use B5 and I've never had any problems with the textures being applied(you may have to tweak them according to taste), so long as you export the figure as a .obj file and put the object and textures in the same folder.
