I purchased the $1.99 Galleon from Content Paradise however it seems to be faulty in both Poser5 and 6. Worse,when I try to import into Carrara it completely crashes it. Any comments or suggestions please?

It works fine in Poser 6 for me. But it's a huge model. Both in size and in polys. It's so big that it slows Poser to a crawl. When it comes it, the camera is inside the ship. You won't see it correctly until you pull the camera back. Way back.

Have you joined all the bits and saved it into the browser and then tried to open it and get full details to render? The hull seems to dissapear. (Even loading the .obj files into Carrara crash it!)

As far as I know, that's normal behavior for props. The sails, wheel, etc., are smart props. But if you try to save the galleon to your library, it only saves the active prop. It doesn't save the others with it. (Note that it doesn't ask you if it should save just the active item or everything when you save it.)

I suspect that's why your hull is not showing. It wasn't saved.

I don't have Carrara, but I tried importing the galleon to Vue. It came in fine.

Should work fine in P6, I've used a couple of times without any problems.
