That's a limitation of the tool, as far as I know. You would have to pin the piece at the end of the first part's chain before moving the second, in most cases, to get the desired effect. Edit: or move and pin the parts you want moved in their final positions, then move the part you would have pinned while moving them to compensate.

Does anyone know how to simultaneously move 2 body parts (like 2 legs or feet) using powerpose? I know you can ctrl click the other part(s) but only the first part moves and not the 2nd, 3rd, ... parts.
