Are they working? I've been trying to get hold of a certain merchant for a week now, I've thus far sent 3 Im's. I know they've logged on but I'm not getting the "so and so has received your message" message. So I have no clue as to whether the merchant is ignoring me or if they simply haven't received the IM.

I would suggest an email.Ims are working, but perhaps there is another reason the member is not replying.Sometimes while this site is going through the changes it can be slow and the member cannot wait around or navigate. Soon enough it will all be running smooth.
