Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
If you're using Poser 6, the last 10 renders are preserved in an 'undisclosed location', whether you consciously save them or not. Search for the folder PoserRenderCache and you'll get there. These files won't show up in a search for *.BMP because they're given the TMP extension, but they are actually BMP files.

Have you looked on the Start Menu under Documents or Recent Documents? They might be there, too. If any of the files shows up in the recent documents list, you can right-click on it, choose Properties from the popup menu, and when the Properties dialog appears, click the "Find Target..." button. A window will open up showing you the location of the file. If you don't have a Documents or Recent Documents list, right-click the Start Menu button then click Properties from the popup menu. When the Properties dialog appears, click "Customize..." then choose the Advanced tab. At the bottom is an option that says "List my most recently opened documents". Put a check mark next to that, then OK all the way back out. - Jimdoria ~@>@
click on documents just below programs in the start thingy..it usually tells you what your most recent works were :0) You can also find a folder called "Recent' in document and settings (may be hid and you will have to do a "show hidden files and folders" in folder options)and see lots of stuff. I'm probably just repeating what everyone else is saying..LOL

I'm very new to using Poser and the other night I saved two renders without choosing where they went. I can't find them with search because I didn't record the names accurately :( So does anyone know where they may have saved to as a default?
