The render I did called [ "Slow Ascent"](http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=588421&Start=19&Artist=AgentSmith&ByArtist=Yes) was an attempt at murky ocean water. For download here is a stripped down version of the scenefile. The original is just way too big to host for download (150mb), what with 30 terrains in it, besides the meshes in it that aren't mine (the scuba diver and plants).

But, I kept representations of the diver and rock walls in it, so you could see how everything was placed. The mats and settings for the rockwall, skylab, and lower volumetrics are all intact, as are the spotlights that were used.

Notice; in the final render the descending light rays and shadow rays had been done in post with the "Luce" 2D plugin.

Enjoy, and I hope this will help out.

the scuba diver substituted with spheres is really fascinating. Looks like a sf scene, of a man in exoscheleton descending in an unknow place.

Yeah, you can get some strange results with that. I went through a phase of bringing in DAZ figures into Bryce and using the "Edit>Convert Selection To..." option. Converting to metaballs are also fun. You can get some abstract looking figures. AS
