Is it poisable to turn a dyamic cloth item in to a conforming item? Or am I wishful thinking SW

it's possible but will require quite a lot of work. You'll have to group it and rig it, then tweak the joint parameters to fit... But.. it's doable. Mostly in theory though for most people.

Yes, it is possible, buy you need Poser4+ setup room knowledge to rig the item. I am sure Dr.Geep has a tutorial about rigging things :) In a nutshell, the dynamic clothing is a simple .obj file that Poser ClothRoom can take into calculations and move vertices around to create movements. The conforming clothing is a whole 'nother beast :) In fact it is a figure, with all bones, falloff zones and joints, and it has to be built exactly like the figure you want to use the clothing on. Usually you will have to part the clothing item's polygons into the groups that exist in a figure (like hip, chest, lCollar, rCollar, abdomen and the like) then run it through the Setup Room applying the donor figure .cr2 to place the bones and the like in their respective places. After that you need to adjust the Faloff zones in Joint Editor, add the morphs and so on and so forth. Long, boring an extremely repetitive task all in all :) But EnglishBob has a wonderful tutorial on his site (see the link) which can explain a lot :) Michal 4buleyes

Actually.. you don't NEED the setup room to rig it. It eases the process, at least in some people's opinion (personally I avoid it at all costs) You can get Roy Riggs' Phi Builder and simply set up the hierachy in that, it works somewhat like Poser's Hierachy Editor, and when done you output a phi file, import that into Poser and you'll have your rigged thing. There are also some programs, personally I rely on Kattman's PWizard (here in the Marketplace - I think) - and some people like MarkDC's QuickConform. They both eases the setup and joint parameter thing greatly. (in short they'll take your grouped obj and output a working cr2 file. Some tweaking may be needed but depending on the complexity it's not all that much.

on a relative question. Can you use dynamic clothing from one figure to another? I'm interested in the Shawl & Robe @ runtimeDNA but pefer the Mil3 people (I don't have Miki). Is it possible to resize and tweak it, then run it?(never used the cloth room)
