Anyone know how to add shadows using this compositing technique in Poser? House and ground are from Bryce 4, she's added in Poser 4. Thanks to Kozaburo for the hair, and Kestral for the pose. French Beauty house by d-studios. Thanks in advance for comments--J.

Adding shadow, if you don't want to import the character directly into Bryce, can be complicated, but the simple way to do it would be to take a picture of the ground in your Bryce scene from straight above and then use that picture to texture map to your ground plane in Poser. It might look a little cheesy, but any shadows that fall onto your ground plane will show up.

Hope this helps.

I'd render the girl in Poser against a black background and import the pic into Bryce. Use the alpha channel from the pic in Bryce to cutout the girl, and Bryce will cast a shadow from the poser pic onto the ground at the proper angle.

But why not render the figure in Bryce? The results would be so much better.
