Does anyone know where I can find decent 3d models of Police cars? Uniforms? that kind of thing? Thanks

and there are loads of free textures available to retexture this to US, English, German and Italian police. There may be more, didn't go through it all.

There are several free European ones here:

 http://dmi.chez-alice.fr/modelsrescue1.html  They are in LightWave .lwo format which you can convert to .obj using PoseRay (http://mysite.verizon.net/sfg0000/).  You should be able to find a way to convert .obj to .3ds though the former is better for Poser if that's what you're using.
