Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 7:38 pm)
Probably not.
With the exception of the OpenGL preview option P6 has, Poser doesn't reference the graphics card at all, relying on the processor and memory for everything even rendering.

If you're joking that's just cruel, but if you're being sarcastic, that's even worse.
Applications will have to be specifically re-built to take advantage of the PhysX hardware. This will probably entail:
It'll be a while before we see #1, and it's still an IF not a WHEN at this point. #2 is even further down the road - if it all. Poser still doesn't support multiple processors, a capability that's been fairly commonplace for at least 6 years.

I just received this email from a friend; my question is this:
Do you think this card will work with Poser?
“Does Poser take advantage of PhysX technology yet? What is PhysX you ask? The simple definition is a video modeling technology to improve graphics. How can you add this ability to your computer? With just a simple PCI card. It's not a video card and it has no connections. It's simply a processing card that adds these new technologies to your existing system.”
