Subject: Wind?

Hi,

I just upgraded to Vue 5 Infinite today. I was looking forward to checking out the wind effect on trees.

Now the manual says their will be a triangle in circle when looking at the selected plant in top down view. However, I cannot see this icon at all. Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks
Jon

Have you checked "Enable wind (on a per plant basis)" in the Atmosphere editor on the Wind tab ?

Probably not :)

I was following the manual, must have missed that bit :)

Cheers

The manual doesn't mention in the "Applying Wind" section on page 108.
It is described on page 202 in the "Wind Tab" section.

That setting does appear to be off by default (for me any way).

This is even more annoying if you have a manual like mine, which is falling apart at the seams, and its leaves keep fluttering away on the slightest breeze...
(I MUST find a cheap way of getting the manual ring-bound!)

Cheers,
Diolma

Hopefully that won't happen to the PDF version ๐Ÿ˜‰
Now if only the index had internal page jumps ...
