Will they sort it out in an update as it's a bloody pain in ass that feathers, some hair, some trees and grass wont render in sketch, colour or black and white.

I hate having to go through every bloody figure and prop to try find stuff that will render in sketch room have look at 2 pics 1 this message 1 in reply

Forgot mention it's Koji2 g2 figure

It's probably better to do a normal render first and then let the sketch renderer work on the rendered image...

it's due to the transparencies in the feathers...if they were actually modeled then they would be proper.  not that this helps you but it is what it is

Has anything been done with the sketch room since Poser 1?

It seems to be the most primative of the Poser tools, although you can get nice effects with it from time to time.

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

As Dizzi says, render the picture, and then do a sketch render on the picture. Either use the render as a background, or apply it to a correctly proportioned square prop.

The attached pic shows a sketch render that used a render as a background in Poser 6.

Ta

But why i want a scetch room that works so i can do large scenes and to get pictures like you used get in adventure book's, i posted 2 pics to my gallery using a plugin with photoshop not used on jasc yet.

Its a pity they dont work on a download to sort scetch room out as it be nice do big scenes just like in old book's.

It does work if you render your picture first, and then do the sketch render on the picture. That is what I did, the picture above is a sketch render straight from Poser6. It's like using Poser to add a filter effect, instead going to PhotoShop and doing it there.

Don Albert has some sketch presets for sale at DAZ that may give the kind of effect you are after, judging by your pictures.

Ta for info on preset's for sale info

but in january i had already done a render with a picture i put on an ic3 background, but that does not do what i want, as the scetch room they never even botherd to fix.

If they cant program a PC then they should get another job as the sketch room should work how you want it, so if they cant do it then give the program to european, chinese, or japanese programers to get a working scetch room.

Done right the scetch room should work right as it should be not upto us the customers to find ways around problem's, but will buy some preset to see how they work.

But at least your enjoying ho you do your scetches.

Ta again
