I've created an object in Hexagon 2.  I've mapped the UV so it conforms to the curve of my object.  I have imported the object into Vue 6 and now I want to apply a material to the object that follows the UV mapping.  How do I do that?

Thanks
Mike

Set the material in Vue to object standard mapping which will apply the material to how your UV Map looks.

Okay.  After reading your post I tried what you suggested.  It didn't work.  So I got to thinking that maybe the UV data didn't get exported from Hexagon.  I went back to Hex and checked the export and found that 3DS didn't mention anything about UV coordinates.  So I exported in Wavefront OBJ format and kept the UV data. However, when I tried to import this object into Vue 6, it crashed.  Just to make sure I tried it a couple more times.  Each time Vue 6 crashed.  So I tried it in Vue 5, it imported without any problems. However (again :-), the material didn't follow the UV mapping.  See image.  I added a plane with the same material to show how it's supposed to look.

Any ideas?
Thanks
