Quote - Do you have concrete info on DAZ Studio 1.5 LD??

Only what's been officially announced.

http://www.daz3d.com/program/characters/index.php?trid=%20363237204

Scroll about halfway down the page, to the Unimesh Sub-D Cage feature.

Quote - There are NO phonemes which I find strange.

It is somewhat odd, but it should be possible to construct accurate phonemes by combining the existing morphs.  DAZ has given us an unprecedented amount of control over V4's jaw, lips, and tongue.  And don't forget that much like Apollo's, these morphs work equally well at both positive and negative values.

Yeah I was quite surprised the face is articulated now, that's pretty cool.  I like that a lot.

Problem:  Her head/feet/chest/shoulders/hands/palms/whathaveyou are  too big/small/broad/narrow or whatever
Solution to all of the above:

V4 has built in scaling morphs to address all of those issues to your personal tastes in body part proportions.  I was particularly delighted with the morph to scale her shoulders.

Edit:  Oh yeah:

Problem: She has no nipples/her nipples are not on by default
Solution:  There are LOTS of nipple morphs to help you create a variety of shapes, sizes, placement, and degree of erection/mine aren't either unless it's really cold when I get out of bed >^_~

But the big problem with her being so tall is that all the combined pose packs of her with micheals etc will come out with her being standard size. We should all have a vote and change her height and the pose making people could maybe use out preferred option. That's never going to happen is it. The couples poses will be made for default V4 - damn! Love esther

WEll the whole advantage of pose sets is that they really speed things up and that's why people buy them, and particularly couples poses would be hard to modify if you suddenly reduced your V4 to an SP3 height - it certainly wouldn't be a matter of minor tweaking. I just think it would have been very nice if they had made the default V4 just a little shorter than the boys. If people wanted her taller they could always adjust her upwards. Anyway the damage is done now, and I don't think there's anything we can do except do our own posing with couples etc. Love esther

I know, I know :)  you don't have any argument from me because I really liked using Body Sensual for its many partial poses, a lot of which don't work correctly for me any more.  I was only joking, I know it's a pain to go back and fix your couple poses, but on the bright side you only need to do it once per pose right?  Then save it to a pose library.

You haven't bought any of schlabber's stuff have you? Thousands of poses. Oh well. Love esther

Yeah I have a couple of Schlabber packages, Expression e.g., I had issues with them already in P6/V3 apparently due to my liking of scaling fingers.  I was hoping P7 would allow you to select multiple joints at the same time a la DAZ|Studio, but apparently not.  I'm considering most of my previous stuff training cost basically and just developing my own pose libraries from scratch, too much of a nuisance to load someone else's pose and then tweak it away from their default and fix the inevitable glitches.  I've only recently "gotten it" that you can save partial poses quite easily from inside of Poser, I was thinking it was a big trick for some reason.

I love his expression pack. I saved tons of them as morph targets and just wind them from 1 back to the desired results on my character that they are saved onto. I had already saved my character's face as morph target so all the expression dials were zero again before I start adding the schlabber expressions. I also found his sitting poses very useful. what is the way you save your partial poses in poser? Love esther

V4 looks like a not very good mixture of V3, A3 and Gloria and she has morphs similar to The Girls with no name other than "Estelle" or "Francoise" or such, which is not very informative actually. Quite a washout in my eyes. :(

If you zero both figures, and then straighten out V4's feet to true flatfoot, they are almost exactly the same height.

V4 looks slightly smaller though, because her head is the proper size, compared to V3's undersize head.   Undersize heads tend to produce a more "heroic", taller look, which usally only works well for superheros.  ;-)
