Go back to Daz and download their PDF instructions for DazStudio. It's been updated to include the D-Form instructions towards the back 3/4 of it.
Rough Instructions
1. Select item to D-Form
I just like the DForm functions better that Poser Magnets. The live-view of colored verteci are more in line with modelling software (like 3D Max's "soft selection" use) The spline use for the field is different than I've seen in any program... but there is a maximum amount of points per spline, and you cannot edit the tangents on the curve. (rats..but it's still a great tool)
If you cannot obtain the PDF off Daz or what you download is incomplete; I can email the file as needed (under implied free distribution of the file)
I must admit that Daz is pretty wise making the Studio program a freebie, and generating funds off content. I wouldn't have bought much from Daz and Renderosity if not for the programs free release. Thank you Daz, and thank you Renderosity for starting to support some Daz Studio Content.

OK - so I purchased D-Form, so that I could use the magnets/deformers that were included in some M3 clothing I bought.
Now I feel silly because I downloaded and installed it, but I see no evidence that it's there. I could already click on the magnets/deformers in the Scene tab, but no amount of fiddling with the morph dials would make any difference. Nothing appears to have changed.
You know what they say, when all else fails, read the manual. So,.... anyone know where I can find the.... gasp.... instructions?
