***3. Simply double-click on this pose and the selected clothing item will automatically be influenced by the D-Formers just like the underlying figure.

Layman's terms ....
Victoria 4 contains many magnets that replace a lot of the old JCM (joint controlled morphs) that previous Daz figures had to make them bend better. Using the !Magnetise To V4 adds these magnets to your clothing so that it bends better as well. You do not manually adjust these new magnets, they are tied into Victoria 4's joints so that when she bends a particular way, certain magnets are activated to make that bend better.
Magnetise DOES NOT add morphs to your clothing, make other character fit into your clothing, add full body morphs to your clothing, give you the ability to dial her boobs up to gigantic proportions and get no poke thru, clean your dishes or make you coffee :)
Try this for example:
The dials on the clothing tell you how strong the V4 magnets influence the cloth. Almost always the values should be left at 1.000.
jjroland - this feature actually makes it easier to make conforming clothes for V4. No need to make tons of joint controlled morphs, the magnets will take care of it. No problems with unwanted crosstalk in P4/PP. No problems with non-functioning ERC in Poser 5 and up. The more I play with V4, the more I like her.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
The makers of Poser really don't have anything to do with how clothes fit either. It's the clothing creator's skill that determines how well clothing fits.
Clothing 'out of the box' should fit Victoria 4. If it doesn't you should return it and get your money back, or if it's a freebie throw it away. I honestly don't understand why so many people have trouble fitting clothing to V4. The only thing I can think is if they are turning dials on V4 that aren't matched in the clothing. And that, once again, is because of the clothing creator. Personally, I don't match every single morph, only the FBM ones, as to match every single morph would take a ridiculous amount of time and I'd have to raise my prices to cover the extra work put in.

Hi there,
may be this is a stupid question, if i do something wrong with all this.... but please help me somebody.
I understand the "Magnetize to"-Thing like this:
1st - i conform my clothes as usual to V4
2nd - I apply the Magnetize to to the desired clothes
3rd - Now Pser added new dials to the palette which should morph the clothes
But... whatever i do with the dials.... nothing happens with the clothes.
In this example i used Alice by Aerysoul. But my problem exists also with the normal V4.
Can someone explain what i have to do, or has someone a link to a tutorial?
Many thanx, Factor
