With NeaP4 morph target as a base and using the mask for perfect face proportions Nea 2 almost fits perfect on it!

For the project I used 2 square props with the "mask" on them as trans map and using the front and left camera adjusted Nea to her new perfect shape! :biggrin:

You should try to integrat this with the remapped version I sent you.

I'm afraid that due to Nea's smooth head morph the V3 texture won't work on the brows in the same way Nea's shape as morph target will distort textures when used on Posette!

I'm not sure yet if I'll even do a next version... however if I do she will have this face! :biggrin:

I tried to modify the head in a way that all  Nea 1 morphs will work fine but still have a different look
The new shape is as near as posssible on the lines of the mask and that gives Nea 2 harmonic proportionts ! :biggrin:

Still not very happy with the nostrils yet...

PosetteV3's eyebrows have been smoothed too.  This shouldn't be a problem.

Yes,but I used Nea's head as a base for this morph so the PosetteV3 smooth eyebrow morph will work different and this will  cause texture distortion :biggrin:

Send me the head, and I'll remap it and send it back.  Then just attach it to the body.

Also, the Aprish P4V2 uperEyebrows that I also incorporated in my PosetteV3 (after I remapped THEM to V3 configuration) should also be included in the final file version.  Not even ALL V2 textures included painted on eyebrows, and V3 textures even more so.

oooooo.  dph, you're the man.  i'd love an integration of nea and v3 mapping.  i've got unimesh maps coming out my ears. since i still like aiko, and my tons of v3 morphs mean that there's tons she can do for me v4 can't, i still get the occassional new unimesh texture.

if you do a nea 2.0, then my request is more lip morphs.  also, if you broke your brow morphs into two parts- inner and outer- she'd be the first figure i know of to enable realistic brows.  almost every time someone tries to make a morph based on a real person, the problem is that their eyebrows are flatter in the beginning and arched and curved at the end.  and almost always, the creator ends up in some mid-ground, with more arch and curve, but in the whole brow, making the eye completely off.   if one could control the arch and distance from the eye in two different parts, her face would be much more versatile than any figure i know of.

PosetteV3 is already ready TODAY.  I'm discussing with both Rendo and Planit3D to post her in their freestuff.  PosetteV3 has somthing like 20 different lip shaping morphs.  Email me at dph@013.net.il and I'll send you a copy.

When Pitklad sends me Perfecta's head, then there will be TWO version of the V3 Posette available.

Actually Nea 2 will use NeaP4's cr2 for sure since it has some improvements plus the body handles for breasts plus the hand-feet size dials!!!

However if I have to work with Nea 2 I will cancel Domus 3... Don't have time for both... So it depend which one would be preferred

Well, I've started work in earnest this very morning on remapping The Dork to realize my vision of The DukeM3.  Which ever either of us does, the Poser community benefits, and that's the important thing.

If Mr. Hoadley is going to remap the head for you, why not add more Geometry to the ears, and mouth area. It would allow for a greater range of expression, and realism. You could use the python script Cage wrote to exchange facial morphs later on.

pitklad, wow! That is excelent... a beautiful face. I don't know what to say re. choosing between Nea2 and Domus3! I might have to go with Domus... I only ever got the Beta for the Domus with Body Morphs... which version is that? Did you post the final build of it?

ccotwist3D I don't plan redesigning Posette's geometry, If I had to do that I would prefer making something from scratch... Also haven't understood how this script works! :blink:

Nea will need less work I guess, I can make a V2 version and than when David remmaps her head we could have a V3 version too

In another month and a half, or so, we can have an M3 version of Domau or Duke (as i prefer tocall him) as well.  left arm is almost completely remapped.

You finish the morphs, and I'll finish the mapping.  Then we'll have both a Garnd Duches V3 (NeaV3) and a Grand DukeV3.  The Duke and the Duches of Poser shall reign again!

Actually, remapping the heads is one of the easier aspects of the process.  It's just rearranging the vertices from one configuration to another.

The part I dread is the feet.  The hands are awfull, but the feet are a real horror.  They've never been properly  mapped; but have been simply left in their 3 dimentional form.  So first, I have to seperate them into two planar surfaces, but then I also have to search out all the bits of facets that didn't seperate properly.  It's a real PITA, and not the kind that  I eat with Humus.

I know feet are horrible on P4 people, separate them on different materials(feet upper-lower)  first and  then remap every material separate and at the end connect them again...That's what I do in those cases!

The head is AWESOME!  Simply awe inspiring!  Between you and David, people will be flocking back to P4 figues in no time!  Being poly light makes them INCREBILY light on computer resourses, and makes crowd scenes easier to do!

Each and every one, in its time, was given out as a freebie (10-15) years ago.   Some  have a restriction on their commercial use (artwork is OK, but can't be used to make resellable characters).  I know of no restrictions on their redistribution, as  long as it's occompanied wtth the commercial use proviso.

Nea2 is almost ready!
Some small details plus some morphs I want to add and she is ready!
I got a very encouraging mail by my friend Stahlratte that I can include any of his wonderfull morphs on Nea 2! This means she will be even better!!! I'm very happy because Stahlratte has made the best Nea morphs ever and his work is a prove on how good any mesh can look in the right hands!

Wow, this version looks to be amazing! I can't wait to play with her! Thanks for doing this, especially with the last of your free time before service begins.

Nea2 looks mighty good.  Will the Army not let you have a computer?  Will you spend all your time in the field?

Luck in the service!  In the 'old country' - Hungary - apparently the age of call-up was 18. It can't be the same in Greece - you sound way more mature than 18.  They also claimed there that they would go in as boys and come out as men. (Well I think the term was longer than 9 months tho - so perhaps they meant more than just characte-r wise.) 

At any rate you don't appear to need that aspect of it at all.  Thanks a lot for your upcoming and past contributions.
