I'm not sure where to ask this... but has anyone gotten this to work with 3Delight? I just tried it and got a whole bunch of errors, not sure what they mean.

Is that the Daz Studio rendering engine? You'd be best off contacting the Daz technicians via e-mail.

You might try the script that stewer wrote in case it does a better job, otherwise it would seem like a bug report is in order.

I dabbled with this a wee bit. I don't have a definitive answer but hopefully I can point you in the right direction, although as mentioned Stewer is the guy.

If you've spent a great deal of time creating these killer skin shaders, you will be disappointed to find that a sucessful 3Delight render from a Poser RIB export has no materials and is all white. At that time I didn't have an external material editor, which you will need to create materials and connect them to items in your exported RIB files.

The first nine lines are material attributes, and the next several lines are the zones that they're connected to. To really get this, you will want a pedestrian knowledge of C and a copy of Advanced Renderman, ISBN 1-55860-618-1.
