Subject: Does Rendo have an annual big sale?

If so when is it normally?  Do they regularly put coupons in the email newsletter?  I'm new to the site and like the stuff and want to get the best deals possible so that I can afford to do Poser art AND eat!

Thanks

We do send out coupons but make sure that you have your profile set to YES on receiving promos, coupons and newsletter.

We also have group vendor sales from time to time and you will see those in the newsletter when they come about. There is no "set" sale time, coupons, etc, just watch your emails:)

Thanks and welcome

maybe there could be a "hagglin'  season is open" week each year.

"that product is never worth $25............i'll give you $10 for it"

"ten dollars.........TEN DOLLARS!!! ......i'd be robbin' meself if i let it go lower than $20!!"

that sort of thing.

In Feb and March. These are our slowest months (right after xmas [monies] during a time of no major holidays[monies] )

A preplaned site wide 70% off sale once a year :)

Especially now. I've especially noticed that when they raised the min ammount to get a check cut it sure has changed my spending habbits.

Before, if I got over 20 dollars, say 26 or 28 I might have went and bought something frivilous. But now that it's at 35 for a min I have to wait a long time (if ever this month) to buy anything.

I can imagine that the other merchants are in a simular situtation. And lets face it, it's the merchants who have in-store credit that do a HUGE amount of the buying around here.

I agree that they should have more sales that are more than 10 percent off.

That recent 30% with a minimum purchase of $15.00 was great. I found myself unable to resist getting many of the items that I had been sitting on in my wish list waiting to buy when I was more flush with money.

I wouldn't have bothered if it was 10% off because I don't usually go and buy $100.00 worth of virtual stuff. And I'm not going to go and spend $25.00 or $35.00 minimum to get $2.50 or $3.50 discount.  That barely covers the currency exchange rate.

On the other hand with the minimum $15.00 and then a wopping 30% off  that extended beyond the end of the month (my payday along with many others) was just too tempting. Between sale and clearance prices together with the 30% additional discount, I managed to clear away a good chunk of my wish list.

I think Renderosity would see more sales and ultimately more profits if they had more of those higher discount coupons with a lower minimum, or a no minimum purchase.

Also, most other sites have a large sale once per year. Poser Works has one in November or December and I went hog wild and bought almost everything in their store one year. Poser Pros has buy one get one free sales.  RDNA has a huge 50% off sale in August every year. Even Daz has mega sales.

Renderosity is the only one that I know of that doesn't do that.

I agree, the 30% sale was what it took for me to buy a lot of stuff.  I spent over $70 with that coupon in a couple of weeks.  The month prior I spent less than $30.   When I get a better value, I spend more money.

Big sales (30% or more) are a good thing!  DAZ is running a big sale now (everyday, new items for $1.99.  I'll be buying most everyday.
