Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 7:38 pm)
If you made a character using dials then its pretty much as easy as saving a regular pose.
With your new character morphed and selected go into the pose library and click onto add to library. This will give you a dialog, click onto "select subset", now uncheck world and this should uncheck everything. Now scroll down to victoria4 and check that and hit ok.....
Now its going to ask you if you want to save morph channels, say yes and that should be about it.
Now when you have v4 loaded you can click onto that pose and it will set all the morph dials back to what you had them at.

You happen to know the best way to save a pose with props so that when you click back on the pose, the props don't go flying off? I'm having a problem with a sword pose for my character. I can save the pose with the swords in his hand, but if I change the pose and then reapply the pose, the swords go flying off in the scene. And yep, they're smart-propped.**
Okay I tried what you said onnetz and it saves it and morphs her after loading V4, but its for some reason not loading everything or something for whatever reason, cause it doesn't look like my character! lol It's rather strange. Also.. if thats how to create an INJ then how to I create a REM?
I guess I just wonder how vendors are doing it. I want to make it like that.
The thing with doing it by saving her as a pose is that you are not doing INJ and REM. You're just saving a pose. V4 has the ability to do it this way since she comes in with her morphs already loaded and they don't need to be unjected. I would imagine if you wanted a "REM" in this manner, you would just save her as default (no morphs applied) the same way you save her with the morphs. The head morph you might have to save under "Face" in Poser to get all the morphs to work correct. I could be wrong and anyone feel free to correct me on this if I am.
This should be useful for those wanting to create morph poses with existing morphs.

Well, I can't get past the parsing part it seems! Before I went to bed last night I started the parsing and when I woke up it was still doing it!! 9 hours later! I don't understand. :(
It will not do it seems, maybe its too big? I don't know. I can't get past this part to see if anything else works.
Oh and I am checking out your tut now onnetz, thanks for that! :)
**Maybe someone can help me with this question. After I create my charcter(figure). I export her and save it as a png. The only problem is the first one was so small could barely see it.
Then I made another one and it was a bit bigger and then the third one was a medium small.
How do you create a charcter ie; faerie, elf, or woman in the preview screen so she fills the screen with deminisons such as 600 pixels wide and a height abour 920 pixels and after rendering maintains the height and width as above.**
**altmandee......
For larger png renders, you need to go into your Render Options and change them. Bring your character as close to the "window" as you can using the camera without taking anything outside of the frame. Then go to your Render Options and change the size of your render to the size you want. I set mine anywhere from 1100 X 900 up to 2000 X2000. I go the larger size so as to work with it in postwork better. Be sure to click off "constrain" or it won't do exactly as you want.
As for the character with the white complextion that's still flesh tone...I'm afraid you would have to contact the vendor about it. I don't know which ones you are referring to and only the vendor can best answer any questions about their product.**
there seems to be some misunderstanding about injection and V4 all of her standard morphs are already there, they dont need to be injected or removed. so unless you are wanting to add a new custom morphs created from scratch not from dials you do not need to do injections at all or rem poses becouse there is nothing to inj. or rem. just Morph Poses.

Hi there!
I have looked almost everywhere I could think of and found some things, but nothing to answer this question. Hopefully someone will be able to help out.
I have no idea how to make INJ/REM files for V4. I have found tuts on V3 and Millenum 3 characters but nothing for V4. I tried using Injection Pose Builder, but V4 is not in the list.
Anyone know any good tutorials that answer this question or maybe can help me out?
Thanks so much for reading! :)
