I made 8 add on textures for the victorian shoe freebie I made a little while ago!

In a few days I'm also releasing Victorian Hose/Stocking to fit the shoe with some textures:

Gorgeous work hon. I think your skills in texturing are on par with your modeling skills.  Both excellent.

Now if only this shoe would fit V4 or Aiko.  Oh well, still purty to look at!!

Well, I'm not really sure if this is going in a right direction :-   This is just a screenshot from deep paint, so the render isn't the best quality. I may try something totally different after I sleep on it. I need to find a better texture for the fringe, and roses....  UV mapping on this isn't the best for fine detail. If I was redoing it, I'd do UV map a bit different.

Just had a thought...

You know, it would be really nice to do another, just as decorative and detailed as the dragonfly one - but this time in a nice rich green?  Maybe with green dragons and snakes on it - sort of witches boots...

I'm having a hard time finding a good dragonfly... may have to draw one myself

I saw the green boot in sort of beetle/scarab green, almost... hang on...

Here's a quick render of some of the colours I was thinking of, dunno how possible that might be, it might need some more bottle greenness added to the mix.  (never thought you'd go for it!  Lol)

Those last two on the right are available in my freestuff - those 2 and the last but one on the right are in my Bryce Car Paint Mats.

The others are from Irridescent - which I think used to be available via the bryce backroom... dunno if it still is.

I was just thinking if these were the kind of boots that used buckles it would be nice if the buckle was in the shape of a beetle with wingcases opened - done in a lovely irridescent green... like...

Have you checked out the Bustledress.com site? they have a nice collection of Victorian clothing and boots for sale. But the great part (If you're only looking for ideas) is all the great images there of the stuff. One pair of boots really caught my eye for color. They are a gorgeous purplish/lavender shade that changes in the light according to info there. Here is just a fragment of the picture (Idon't want to get in trouble for posting a copyrighted image) i'm talking about.

conniekat, I'll check it out and see if it's something I can work on. Though I've never tried texturing houses. I'd have to build a texture library for this somehow. Sure wish I could afford to join 3d.sk's other texture site, the one for gamers and such. He has a ton of resources there...sigh.

I have tons of tetures, I acquired Filter forge and Genetica over the last year, I'm swimming in textures. During the week, here and there I've rendered out couple hundred seamles textures for the project, with a lot more to come. Textures with bumpmaps.
Those are for all participants to use on the victorian village project.
