I remeber seeing something on this a while back, but i can't seem to find it again, so i figured I would just ask.

When V4 first came out, i waited long enough to get one of the bigger bundles, cann't remeber which one it was now. I do know that it came with V4.0 as well as her morphs.

Shortly after that Daz releaed V4.1

So first question, What is the major differences between the two? I looked on daz's site and it said something about automaticlly updating the Crs files, but that just confiused me.

Second question, If i do choose to upgrade does that me I'll have to by the V4.1 character, morphs and cloths all over again or can i just get away with getting just the figure?

V4.1 is wearing a Bikini and has hairs ;-)
But beside the optical thing, you really can do the update, as you can use all things for V4 on V4.1 too.
With the update DAz has fixed some morph-problems, and V4.1 bend better now. It´s really an update only.

As well if you want to use the Creature Creator Morphs & the Muscle Morphs you need to do the update to 4.1 which is a free update.

The big difference between V4.1 and V4.0 is the new way that morph injection dials are handled.  In V4.0 and v3 Mil figures, the dials are in the CR2 for all time.  There are two sets: proprietary sets and user sets (for third-party morph creators).  One disadvantage here is that DAZ had to estimate the maximum of these that would ever be used.  Another disadvantage is that there is no tracking of which third-parties have used with user sets - so there is sometimes contention if using more than one third-party morph set.

DAZ's solution is new tech in V4.1.  Morph dials for injection are only added to the CR2 when the user 'installs' the morph set.  The advantages are that it removes limits on the number of morph dials, removes contention (as long as names are unique), and reduces the number of actual dials in the CR2 to only those which can be injected.  The disadvantage here involves updating the CR2 every time you get a new morph set.

If it were possible, a better solution would have been for the injection tech to create/remove the dial as well as the morph deltas.  Unfortunately, this is not possible.

No, it does not. All you need to do is reset your download (in your DAZ product history) for V4, and you'll get the installer for V4.1. If you bought the Morphs++ pack at the same time, you'll have to reset that as well.
