Hello you all artists, 3D fans and friends!

I'm a newcomer into this site, and an absolute fresh beginner in 3D art.

"Arriving from nowhere and sniffing around here to collect some staff for beginner...", I have problem with quite all the furnishers: They all have nice products for sale, but, as a DAZ|studio user, I'm obliged to read between the lines to discover finally,  in small character-types that the product his still "NOT TESTED WITH D|S"  What a pitty! May be the Huge price of D|S could discourage them? So, after having cleared my wishlist of some products I deduced after brain fire-and-fly till a final headache they quite certainly won't  work with D|S, I leave in my wishlist some products that I'm few time before shifting them in my cart, and make them public. So, if you have few minutes, if you know some of them, I you like bowling, please Ladies and Gentlemen, It's up to you! With a great thank from a poor & humble beginner. Friendly, LocusSolus.

The majority of Poser Content should work in DAZ|Studio.

The only things that specifically don't work are procedural textures, dynamic hair and dynamic clothing (P5+); and files that use PMD style morphs (P6+ external morphs).

All is not lost, however. PMD external morphs can be made usable with the free MorphExchange by Kuroyume http://www.kuroyumes-developmentzone.com/index.html
and/or a free DAZ studio plugin, InjectPMD by DeltaX15 http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=72737
They don't work perfectly, but they do allow the use of many PMD morphs.

CRZ, PZZ, OBZ and other compressed files can be uncompressed with winzip (or any other zip program), and recent DAZ|Studio versions (1.7+) should read them, anyway.

Even though P4 style textures and lights work in DAZ|Studio, they still need to be tweaked as DAZ|Studio has different lighting and texture systems than Poser, among other differences.

The reason that Merchants put "Not tested in DAZ|Studio", is that many don't have the time to learn a new program, test all their products in it and possibly even create DAZ|Studio specific materials for them. It also stops people from asking why the item looks different in DAZ|Studio. People do really do that, I'm afraid I did it once.

Edit: Spelling

i've found if you get the poser exporter that is free in the freepository in daz forums just about anything from poser up to P6 ( haven't got anything from P7) will work fine in daz and looks really good too
