Genetica might fit the bill, slightly over your $100 budget though.Windows 7 64Bit

How about Celestia? It's free so the price is right.Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
Mojoworld would do the same (using moons) but it's over the $100 limit. There's a trick (tutorial) in Terragen (planetside, and free for the sub-V2 version) that makes a 'low orbit', which is a lot under $100. Bryce (5.5 should still be free, should be a link in the Bryce forum) can do planets of a certain size, with the right material.
If you have Photoshop, Flaming Pear has some planetary filters, or skins, or whatever they're called...;)

Problem with textures for a close approach, is they need to be impossibly large....16,000x8,000 and larger...as that's the WHOLE sphere.
OR, you take a sphere, cut out a square patch of it, so you have curvature, UV map it, fit a smaller, square texture to it ;) (figured that one out for meself, hehe).
OR you can warp the Field of View of a camera, so a flat horizon, curves. This can give a false effect of flat terrain = planet curve.
Tutorial on that inside Vue.
FLaming Pear "Lunar Cell" does planet textures, to look great though they do need work.
Very good tutorial on this on www.scifi-meshes.com

Nice effect there, ghonma. A higher res globe would be better for closeups, though. You can see the poly edges on the pic above.

I have a product but the textures at 3000 X something is not clear enough for my needs
Is there a product that will allow closeups like this with clear textures.
I am trying to create illustrations for a story, so background images won't be enough, i need something i can get the same planet from diffrent angles.
budget is kinda tight so i have to keep it under $100 US.
